GIO Workers Compensation has been a dedicated sponsor of the National Safety Council of Australia (NSCA) for close to 8 years, demonstrating our commitment and support of workplace health and safety in Australia.

GIO is the insurer of some of the largest and most diverse workplaces in Australia. We have partnered with the NSCA to provide a comprehensive range of training courses and resources that will enable our customers to build safer and healthier workplaces.

We also want to ensure our customers have the opportunity be involved in the safety community and to share their safety achievements through the NSCA and GIO National Safety Awards of Excellence.  



About Fire and Safety Australia & NSCA


The NSCA Foundation is a member based, non-profit organisation working together with members to improve workplace health and safety throughout Australia.

For over 90 years, the NSCA has played an important role in helping to inspire, educate, inform and engage Australian business in best practice Work Health and Safety (WHS) and risk management. They provide businesses with a range of public, onsite and online training to ensure healthier and safer workplaces for all Australians.

Their extensive range of WHS training courses are facilitated by highly qualified safety practitioners, bringing a wealth of knowledge into every training course and onsite workshop to deliver workplace safety accredited and approved courses.  

Together with Fire & Safety Australia, they are a national provider of safety training services and also specialise in preparing and delivering customised onsite training.
